Established in Peoria in 1984 when the concept of commercial shredding in Central Illinois was virtually unknown, AAA Certified Confidential Security Corporation (CSC) shreds, disintegrates, and degausses confidential and proprietary information.
From a rented warehouse space and one truck, to a new destruction facility with state-of-the-art security; CSC has steadily grown over the years with the addition of five trucks to its fleet, upgraded shredding equipment, and new process equipment for the ever evolving electronic media trends.

Timeline
November 2009 - Obtained SBSP Certification through the State of Illinois CMS for the Small Business Set Aside Program.
March 2009 - CSC received 2008 Ecology Award from OSDD Glenkirk.
January 2009 - CSC celebrates 25 years of business.
September 2008 - Hired Gus, security cat .
September 2008 - Flood of ’08- University of Iowa- Eight consecutive days, eight truckloads carry 70,000 pounds of water damaged records for destruction.
May 2008 - Simpson elected as the 2008-2009 President of NAID.
May 2008 - Simpson recognized with the President’s Award in honor of his consistent and outstanding commitment to the association, and the industry.
June 2006 - AAA Certified Confidential Security Corporation adds hard drive destruction to their certification.
July 2005 - Simpson won first place at the Brian Redman International Challenge (BRIC) held at Road America Race Track.
October 2005 - CSC receives BBB Central Illinois Torch Award recipient for Business Integrity.
September 2004 - Sales and marketing department added to management team. Until this point, all growth for CSC was through word of mouth.
2001 - BSI registered - ISO 9001:2000
March 5, 2000 - CSC became first shredding operation to attain NAID Certification.
1996 - Upgraded facility meets Fortune 500 customer security requirements.
1994 - CSC becomes a NAID Charter Member.
1993 - Tom Simpson acquired CSC.
1984 - Confidential Security Corporation (CSC) founded.
